L-Glutamine is the most abundant free amino acid in your muscle tissue. Under periods of metabolic stress, glutamine becomes a conditionally essential amino acid. This means your body may not be able to make enough of this vital nutrient to supply its needs.

Your small intestine, believe it or not, is one of the largest "demand centers" in your body for glutamine. And if glutamine is not supplied in adequate sources from your diet your body is forced to use its own available supply...your muscles.

This means all the hard work you do in the gym trying to add lean muscle mass to your body could be for naught if your body needs more glutamine than you are providing it.

It will have no problem "tearing down" your biceps or thigh muscles in order to "make" enough glutamine for its needs. This is the last thing you want. And trust me, this WILL happen if the amount of L-Glutamine circulating in your bloodstream is insufficient.

So in order to prevent this from happening, supplementing with L-Glutamine should be a requirement for you.

Studies Prove Glutamine's Effectiveness

Scientific studies have shown glutamine supplementation may improve protein metabolism and minimize the breakdown of muscle tissue in people suffering from severe metabolic stress.

Another recent study revealed that consuming as little as 2 grams (about ½ teaspoon) of free-form L-glutamine (on an empty stomach) may cause a significant (up to 400%) increase in growth-hormone levels (T.C. Wellbourne, “Increased Plasma Bicarbonate and Growth Hormone After an Oral Glutamine Load,” Am. J. Clin. Nutr. 61 (1995): 1058 – 1061. This means a perfect time to take this is just before bed on an empty stomach or just prior to working out.

Because glutamine is a conditionally essential nutrient, it is not necessary to cycle it. In fact, whenever an optimal level of glutamine is not maintained, protein metabolism may be impaired.

Description: Each slightly rounded teaspoon contains approximately 5,000 mg. (5 grams) of pharmaceutical grade L-Glutamine. Beverly International’s L-Glutamine is 100% L-Glutamine and contains NO other substance.

Recommended use: As a dietary supplement, mix one slightly rounded teaspoon (5 grams) in 6 – 8 ounces of water. Drink 1 serving within 30 minutes before training and 1 serving as soon as possible after training.

Servings/Amount per container:
60 servings per 300 gm container
5 Grams equals 1 tsp.

100% Pure Pharmaceutical-Grade L-Glutamine.

L-Glutamine is the most abundant amino acid in your muscle tissue. Under metabolic stress (like training while dieting) glutamine becomes a conditionally essential amino acid. This means your body may not be able to make enough of this vital nutrient in adequate quantities.

When this is the case, it will break down existing muscle tissue in order to supply it to where it's needed most (typically the small intestine is the largest demand center in the body).

Don't sacrifice your hard-earned muscle tissue by being short on this critical amino acid. Best time to take it is before and after training.
