The
Importance Of Nutrition
One
of the most important factors to consider when transforming your
body is nutrition. When the proper food is provided to your body
and in the correct ratios, the inevitable result is a dramatic reduction
of body fat and an increase in lean muscle.
The
most effective way to provide this nutrition is by setting up a
schedule of eating 5 to 6 times per day. What this does is
provide a continual supply of vital nutrients in the form of proteins,
carbs, and fats that will allow your body to respond in
a predictable manner -- by dramatically losing its fat and gaining
more muscle (highly important for women also -- in just a second
I'll explain why).
Best
of all, by precisely controlling the calories you ingest you will
be able to achieve spectacular fat loss results.
Your
Body Is Always Working - Even When You're Not
The
first thing you need to know is that twenty-four hours a day your
body's cells are undergoing some type of change. These changes are
directly affected by the type and quality of the nutrition you provide
it -- so much so, they affect your thoughts, your emotions, the
functioning of the various systems of your body, your state of being,
and in essence...
The
Entire Quality of Your Life!
There
are three types of food that provide your body with the energy
it needs to function
- Protein,
- Carbohydrates
- Fat.
The
types, quality, and ratios of each will determine your ultimate
state of being -- from how you feel to how much fat and muscle you
have on your body and even to the longevity you will have on this
earth.
There
is tremendous confusion about
these three separate food groups.
A
lot of people are not even sure which of the foods typically
available today are considered carbohydrates -- much less the difference
between "good" and "bad" carbohydrates.
Carbohydrates
are one of the most misunderstood food groups.
Some
advocate staying completely away from 'carbs' -- while others
recommend 70% of your diet should come from them.
Here
is a simple question you can ask yourself when deciding which
carbohydrate to eat -- one that will go a long way all by itself
-- in helping you to lose fat. That question is:
"What
Would A Caveman (Or Cavewoman) Eat?"
Our
digestive systems are the product of millions of years of evolution.
As a result, we are perfectly designed to eat, digest, and thrive
on the same types of foods that were available to our cave-dwelling
brethren eons ago.
It
is only in the last 10,000 years or so -- a 'drop in the bucket'
in time in relation to our evolutionary history -- that newer types
of carbohydrates in the form of grains and processed foods were
introduced.
Because
our bodies have not yet "evolved" to handle them (and maybe never
will), the results of eating these "modern" carbohydrates today
are the tremendous amounts of obese and diseased bodies we
see all around us. Believe it!
Eating
carbohydrates and foods not designed for your body will not promote
health and fitness...it will take them away.
However,
when you eat the correct types of carbohydrates:
- Your state
of mind is sharpened
- The food
you eat is not stored as fat (unlike typical carbohydrates eaten
today)
- You are provided
long-term energy (vs the up and down swings in energy we typically
experience -- if you get drowsy after lunch in
the early afternoons you know what I'm talking about)
- Your muscle
cells are provided with energy enhancing and muscle building glycogen,
and you promote life-enhancing processes.
You
can see why eating the proper types of carbohydrates will increase
your body's efficiency. But carbohydrates are only a part of the
equation to dramatically improved health, fitness, and a stellar
body.
The
Truth About Fats
Here's
another piece of the puzzle most are confused about...fats. Fats
are the building blocks for the myriad hormonal processes occurring
around the clock in our bodies. In fact, there are several fats
that are considered essential in order to thrive, much less
survive.
These
'essential' fats need to be supplied by our diets or we become deficient
-- which can happen very easily. By providing the required amounts
of the right types of fat you also give your body the ability
to...
Accelerate
Your Fat Loss!
One
research study after another has confirmed essential fats' positive
effect on promoting fat loss.
In
an effort to lose fat from your body you may have tried to
reduce the fat in your diet -- the result is you may have inadvertently
reduced the essential fat in your diet as well.
This
reduction in 'good' fat causes the 'stubborn' fat on your body to
become even more so.
That's
why if you dieted in the past, you lost weight but the stubborn
fatty deposits on your body were still there.
|
Including
the right type of essential fats in
your diet causes much quicker fat loss.

And
Isn't Quicker Fat Loss What We're All Looking For?
Best
of all, adding the proper fats gives you "feel good" side effects
like:
- More energy
- Improved
mood
- Better skin
and hair
- Enhanced
cognitive function (you can think more clearly!)
- Superior
heart health
--
all this by simply eating as we were designed to.
Protein
- How To Speed Up
Your Metabolism Naturally
Here's
an exciting benefit that results when we exercise and take in adequate
amounts of the third food group, or protein...more muscle.
Muscle on your body is very metabolically "active." This means it
requires many more calories to support itself than the equivalent
amount of fat.
It's
been estimated between 35 - 50 calories are burned for every extra
pound of muscle you have on your body. Supporting each pound of
fat on your body requires less than 10% of this amount.
A
mere 10 pounds of extra muscle burns 350-500 calories more every
day. This is the equivalent to an intense cardiovascular session
-- without actually excercising!
But
it's not easy to build significant muscle. You have to perform the
right type of weight training combined with the most
effective diet (which includes plenty of protein) in order
to do it.
The
Good News: I've found the "ultimate" combination
to maximize results in minimum time. (More on that coming up...)
How
You Can Look And Feel Better than a 25 Year Old
By exercising in
a certain manner, scientists have found the brain can release
many highly beneficial substances, including growth hormone, which
we ordinarily make in decreasing quantities as we get older. This results
in many symptoms of aging including:
- loss of muscle
tone,
- increased
weight or fat gain,
- loss of stamina
- ...and many
other diseases associated with aging.
Researchers
at the University of Wisconsin announced to the world in 1990 they
had injected synthetic growth hormone into a small group of elderly
men between the ages of 61 and 81. The result was a sudden rejuvenation
that...
Reversed
Biological Aging By As Much As Twenty Years!
These
treatments were, unfortunately, very expensive (about $14,000 per
year) and the effects disappeared when the treatments were stopped.
But
you can stimulate the production of this and other beneficial
substances in the brain (such as testosterone), easily and effectively,
by using an exercise program designed specifically to
do that -- exactly like the one you'll find in the revolutionary
Ultimate Results Program.
